In the historic center of Bergerac, Bénédicte Giniaux presents the work of some twenty artists: painters and sculptors. Bénédicte has been working in this field since 1994, and her experience and eclectic choices bring together a wide range of artistic approaches. From small to large format, works are in bronze, terracotta, raku, iron, corten steel, stainless steel, wood, engraving, glass fusion, drawing, collage, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, oil… An art gallery dominated by dreams, poetry, tenderness, humor and testimonials, signed by artists committed to their creation, some of whose reputations extend far beyond our borders.
“I’ve always worked with artists whose sensibility and creative techniques fascinate me. I appreciate their investment, their commitment, their artistic approach and the way they look at their work. Some of them have been with me since the beginning of my activities (1994), and when new artists join the gallery, my selection criteria aim for the long term and are mostly linked to their professional career.
All sculptures and paintings are unique pieces. The bronzes, produced in limited and numbered editions, are original proofs. I have never agreed to display resins, either indoors or outdoors.
The works are technically very well mastered, and I always issue a certificate of authenticity accompanied by a presentation of the artist or a catalog.” B.G.
